Dr Esther Windsor is a curator, artist, and writer, with over 20 years of teaching across Fine Art theory and practice alongside her professional practice in which she has curated at Camerawork Gallery and Darkroom, the ICA, The Photographers’ Gallery, and The Royal British Society of Sculptors. Her practice-based Fine Art PhD included text works, photography, expanded sculpture, and a novel, Ugly Beast, about characters in a contemporary art world on the therapist’s couch. Her research looks at political subjectivities, gender & sexuality, re-activated psychoanalytic texts, fiction, storytelling and the exhibition as artwork. She considers relationships of learning and art production as part of her practice.
