Demitrios Kargotis

Demitrios Kargotis is a designer and practice-based researcher. His work investigates how contemporary design practice, its processes, methodologies and outputs can trouble structures and systems, often working with diverse audiences and using co-creation as a form of agitation to speak out and think critically and creatively. Employing a range of media, appropriate to a particular research project to include objects, participatory and co-creative events, performances, films and disseminated internationally through exhibitions, workshops, lectures, film festivals and publications. He is a founding member of the action design practice Dash N’ Dem and founding member of Post Workers Theatre, a design troupe interested in activating new forms of participatory and political performance.
